Discovering history, one story at a time.

Genealogy Research
What to Expect
Genealogy research includes both online and traditional research in repositories. On-site research is limited to Alabama.
Kristina maintains subscriptions to several online genealogy databases: Ancestry, Fold3, Newspapers.com, My Heritage, and uses other databases and digital library repositories to seek out primary source materials to tell your family history.
Each project will include a detailed report with research goals and objectives, an executive summary of results, analysis and conclusions, and recommendations for further research. Copies of any discoveries will also be included, such as historical records, letters, photos, and newspaper articles or other documentation. A research log is maintained during the research process and will also be shared; this details which sources were searched and results of each.
Kristina follows the Code of Ethics standardized by the Association of Professional Genealogists and National Genealogical Society.
